NFDA: Electric Vehicle survey


For the second ever NFDA (National Franchised Dealers Association) electric vehicle survey, Kia Motors (UK) Limited, kept its strong form with a more than respectable second place finish. The survey, which started in 2018, was created to understand dealers’ opinions on the electric vehicle sector covering both the governments view and the manufacturers.

Kia, who placed second, where praised for their dealer training, profit returns and volume targets. The overall opinion gathered from the survey shows there is a lot of hope for the future of electric vehicles, which has left manufacturers feeling overjoyed and excited for future projects and greener technology.

Kia are hoping to add 5 new hybrid and electric vehicles to their fleet by the end of 2021, to join their already impressive line up which includes the Kia Niro and Kia Soul respectively. With an average industry standard score being 6.84, Kia scored a more than impressive 8.56 which shows the satisfaction on behalf of the dealer network.

Speaking of the survey Simon Hetherington, Commercial Director at Kia commented saying, “It’s great to see Kia coming at the top of the polls. Our recent win in the NFDA Dealer Satisfaction Survey earlier this month also goes to highlight the confidence that out dealer network have in us as a business partner as well as what we offer to them and our customers alike”.
